Had a wonderful afternoon throwing axes with a few friends; some of us had thrown before and others had not. The instructor was thorough and checked in with us periodically. They also sanitized the equipment between sessions. It was a beautiful day, so the garage doors were open and we really appreciated that. ADA accessible. Queer comfortable; single bathroom (they even have a pride sticker for sale). I'd messed up the date for our reservation, but the person I spoke to on the phone was friendly and helpful; no hassle or attitude at all. We're already talking about going back! Highly recommend.

Me and my Girlfriend stopped here on the way back home from the portland zoo. We had a blast and a wide drink selection including "Mocktails" (Non alcoholic cocktails). Overall the experience was amazing. They prioritize safety over anything else and let you take your time to get the hang of throwing an axe. My girlfriend and I's first ever experience throwing axes was a blast. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a fun stop in Vancouver.

Beer, axes, and completive games; what could go wrong? Firehouse Axes provides a superb experience for the whole family where everyone will have a good time. If this is your first time throwing an axe around, I would suggest starting with an hour and adding more time if necessary. Second, it's best to reserve a spot online to make your experience easier. You do need to sign a waiver before throwing which can be available online as well. You can fill it out at the time of your reservation be sure to have a valid ID upon your arrival. The staff was welcoming, they take safety seriously but also want you to have a good time. If you're new to throwing, they can provide tips to ensure you have a great time. I highly recommend coming to throw an axe to a wall and drinking a cold beer with Firehouse Axes. Thank you for a fun time.
